Read moreI first met Sonia when she arrived at YogaHara for her first introductory yoga class in 2015. She did her 10 weeks in intro and then headed to Ruth's Gentle class. Her transformation (on every level) has been beautiful to watch. She is now deepening her understanding of yoga in the integrated class and enjoying all the new weird and wonderful things yoga has to offer.
Sonia began her yoga journey in 2015 and hasn't looked back. To say it changed her life is an understatement!
How and why yoga helped me start a life change.
I was at a stage in my life where I was sick of myself. I didn't like what I had let myself become, and I had a 'who cares' attitude.
So I started yoga, and I found it hard to start with. Then with support from my yoga instructors at YogaHara, I went to my GP and asked for help.
I got heaps of it, from a specialist and others.
Then I was able to start helping myself and over 8 months lost 46.4 kg.
Now yoga is so much easier. I look forward to it every week as it takes my worries and feelings of heaviness off my mind and body.
I walk out of class every week feeling like a million dollars and free as a bird. A light, powerful feeling within myself.

The reason I do yoga is to feel good, to off load, and to be able to give to others.
