Would you like to gain a greater balance in your daily living, learn techniques to reduce stress and to become more present and focused?
Mindfulness is one of the most effective ways to increase our wellbeing and can significantly improve every area of our lives.
This discovery workshop is based on a mind-body approach and introduces mindfulness in an accessible and practical format. It provides tools to train our attention to be fully engaged in each moment in our life. Some of the techniques used include body scan, mindfulness meditation and breathing practice.
Nina Hakamies, our trained mindfulness teacher, will be facilitating the course. Everyone is welcome, there are no prerequisites.

This workshop will be followed by 6 weekly sessions starting on Tuesday February 6th at 7.15pm for 45 minutes. You don't need to do the workshop to attend the weekly sessions.
What to bring:
- This is not a yoga class, but please wear comfortable clothes that allow your body to be relaxed and your breath to flow freely.
- A notepad and a pen if you’d like to write notes.
