Self-care: A practice in stillness with Maxine Hawker
Taking time for self-care is vital to staying vibrant and well in today’s world. Did you know that meditation is one of the most beneficial self-care exercises you can do?
Over the course of this workshop you will explore different meditation practices that you can use anytime and anywhere. These short practices can help you find a sense of equilibrium in an ever-changing world of experiences. A practice in stillness reminds us all how to pause, breathe, and look within to find our own unique way to take care of ourselves.
Maxine is our resident meditation teacher. She attended a Mindfulness-Based Stillness Meditation Teacher training at The Gawler Foundation in Melbourne in 2012 and share meditation every Wednesday lunchtime, 12.15-12.45pm.
