This is my favourite drink of the summer. Iced Peach Green Tea. And it is S U P E R easy to make.
Especially if you have an abundance of peaches. Feel free to bring some to class if you have any spare...
Iced Peach Green Tea
Green tea to taste (I like to use a jasmine green)
6 Peaches stones removed
20-40g sugar (optional)
Make up the green tea with the 1.5 litres of water and allow to cool.
Add sugar and peaches to food processor and blitz until super smooth. Slowly add the cooled green tea. You can also strain it through a nut bag or fine sieve if you want it really smooth.
Fill glasses (or Fressko Flask) with ice and pour over peach green tea.
It is totally delicious.
The original recipe for this had 200gms of sugar. The first time I made it I halved the sugar and that was still way too much for me. You really don't need much at all. If the fruit is ripe and sweet you won't need any.
