Book Review- 'Untamed' by Glennon Doyle

“We can do hard things” becomes my hourly life mantra. It is my affirmation that living life on life’s own absurd terms is hard. It is hard not to get caught up in the uncertainty of not knowing what’s next and the lack of control in our lives. This can be very challenging. And with the heightened stress and uncertainty, it is so easy to get caught up in trying new things or distracting ourselves with TV, alcohol, food, social media and all those things that suddenly need to be done around the house. There is nothing wrong with these things in moderation, but we should not use them as an excuse to hide from the fear and other feelings that can arise.
